Cody and Elizabeth have been waiting for this day ever since Cody turned to face Elizabeth, got down on one knee, opened up a white ring box, and said these words, “Elizabeth… will you marry me?” She said yes and now they are starting their life together as man and wife.
Cody and Elizabeth met in December 2012 through their two best friends. Their best friends were dating, with three years under their belts already. Together, they both had thought that Cody and Elizabeth would make a great pair. Sure enough, they were right! On June 10, 2013 Cody and Elizabeth made their relationship “official.”. Now those same best friends gave the wedding toast together at the Tenhove wedding.

It is crazy how time flies! This senior session is incredibly special because Kara is my sister in law. It was not that long ago that I remember Kara being in middle school dancing with the high schoolers in the spring musical. I have had the pleasure of watching Kara become a beautiful, strong, and intelligent young women. I am so glad and honored to be the one to take your senior pictures.

Julia and Cody celebrated their one-year anniversary by waking up at 4am to do this sunrise beach session. Even though it was crazy early, Julia and Cody spent the morning watching the sunrise while laughing and showing their love for each other. Not a bad way to start a morning.

Some of you know that spring is my favorite season of all time! The reason why I love spring is that everything becomes alive again. The trees start to bloom with flowers that honestly make me squeal with happiness every time I see one. Spring is also the season of new beginnings. Colleges are finishing up finals week and seniors are about to enter into the real world or tackle their next goals in academia. This particular senior is one of my friends that is graduating and to celebrate her completing her bachelors we of course had to do a graduation session.

The holidays bring sweet new beginnings and people who love each other together. This year, on the Friday before Christmas, David asked his girlfriend of four years a question. With roses on the ground at the location he had carefully chosen. David got down on one knee in the presence of his mom, grandma and sisters to ask Morine to spend the rest of her life with him by asking “will you marry me”.
